On Saturday, February 27th, Villa Licata exceptionally opens the doors of its wine cellar for Cantina Aperta – an evening where experience, flavour, and freedom come together.

Villa Licata presents a refined five-course menu, specially crafted to harmonize with a wide range of wines. You are free to choose the bottles that will accompany your evening, selected directly from the exclusive private collection of the Licata family – a unique opportunity to discover rare gems from our cellar.

From iconic names such as Sassicaia and renowned estates from Brunello, Chianti and Barolo to surprising hidden gems that remain less widely known, the wine cellar at Villa Licata houses an exceptional selection of Italian wines, including vintages dating back as far as forty years. Carefully preserved and ready to be enjoyed, each bottle tells its own story.

During Cantina Aperta, we invite you to discover and taste these stories for yourself. Our sommeliers are on hand to offer personalised advice, share their knowledge of the wineries and vintages, and help you find bottles that suit your taste and complement your dishes. Every wine selection becomes an opportunity for discovery, with plenty of time to taste, compare and, above all, enjoy.

On Saturday, February 27th, 2026 at 7:00 PM, join us at Villa Licata for Cantina Aperta. Enjoy a five-course menu including a glass of Ferrari Perlé, water and coffee/tea. Select your own wines à la carte from the Licata family’s private collection, with personal advice from our sommeliers.

To enhance the experience, reservations are preferred per table of 4, 5 or 6 guests (tables of 2 or 3 available on request).
