Vietti
Located in the idyllic Castiglione Faletto in the Langhe region, Wine Estate Vietti saw the light of day in 1800, founded by Carlo Vietti. The real transformation of the estate took place in the 1960s, marked by the marriage of Luciana Vietti to the innovative oenologist and art enthusiast Alfredo Curado. His visionary approach led to the creation of some of the first Barolo crus and the introduction of arneis monocépage.
Vietti has established itself as a leading wine estate in Italy, known for its excellence and consistent wine quality. The estate boasts top vineyards in the renowned regions of Barolo and Barbaresco and is unique as the only producer with vineyards in all 11 villages of the Barolo zone. Their pioneering role in bottling single vineyard Barolos and rapid expansion into the US market have enhanced Vietti's international reputation. In 2016, the estate was acquired by US investment fund Krause, cementing Vietti's influential status as a wine icon.
