Trento has long been a cradle for great spumantes. The Ferrari myth originates from one man's dream of making a spumante modelled on the best French Champagnes. Giulio Ferrari trained at Montpellier's prestigious winemaking school. He is a passionate oenologist who bottles his first bottles in his hometown of Trento in 1902. In 1952, he associates with Bruno Lunelli and Ferrari has not stopped growing since. La Revue du Vin de France even names them among the great Champagne houses of Reims and Epernay.
