The history of Alois Lageder's family estate, in the heart of Alto Adige, Italy, dates back to the early 19th century when young artisan Johann Lageder settled in the region as a wine merchant in 1823. To this day, the estate is still family-owned and the 50 hectares of vineyards are farmed biodynamically to promote the health of the vines and respect the specific needs of the grape varieties.
