For five centuries, the Allegrini family has been based in Fumane, in the heart of the Valpolicella region. The family estate was gradually built up from the mid-20th century by Giovanni Allegrini, who died in 1983. On the foundation cast by him, his sons Walter and Franco and his daughter Marilisa have built a world-class estate.
Today, the estate has just over 100 hectares of vineyards producing two white and seven red wines. Ranging from the refreshing white Soave to top red wines like La Poja and the Amarone, based on dried grapes, the portfolio excels in pure wines full of class. Corvina, corvinone, oseleta, rondinella and sangiovese: the Allegrini family works all these (and more) grape varieties into beautiful wines.
Meanwhile, with Silvia and Francesco, the next generation is in charge. Silvia Allegrini will personally come to present their wines and projects with great enthusiasm!
