On Wednesday 27 March, chef Alex Clevers of (Vivendum, Michelin 1* - Gault&Millau 16/20) will be a guest at Villa Licata to demonstrate his culinary skills. A legendary evening pairing top culinary talent with the best of Licata Vini's wine cellars.
 

With his parents as great role models, Alex Clevers decided to abandon his car mechanics studies and use the kitchen as a creative outlet. Meanwhile, he has been running hotel-restaurant Vivendum with his wife Marianne for almost 20 years. 

Clevers' “spontaneous cuisine” was awarded a Michelin star and a 16/20 from Gault & Millau in 2007. Starting from the classic base, the top chef, as one of the Mastercooks of Belgium, constantly seeks innovation without denying tradition or regional cuisine. ‘Regional and inspired by the whole world. But also pure and flavourful,’ it sounds.
