We cordially invite you to an exclusive winemaker dinner on Thursday, November 7th at Villa Licata, in collaboration with the renowned Italian wine producer Aldo Conterno from Piedmont, known for his deep and complex Barolos. During this special event, Alessandro Conterno, a key figure in the winery, will join us as our guest of honor.

You’ll be treated to a refined five-course dinner from chef Dennis Broeckx (Butcher's Dining | Gault & Millau 14/20), perfectly paired with the distinctive wines of Aldo Conterno. Enjoy an evening of delightful indulgence and surprising wine discoveries, where each course offers a new experience in taste and harmony.

Aldo Conterno

Located in the heart of the Bussia cru near Monforte d’Alba, Poderi Aldo Conterno was established in 1969 by Aldo Conterno himself. Resembling a historic monastery, the estate favors traditional winemaking methods, preferring Slavonian oak casks over modern French barriques, especially for aging its renowned Barolos.

Following Aldo's death in 2012, his three sons, Franco, Stefano, and Giacomo, took over the reins. They reduced production to better capture the unique identity of each cru, blending modern techniques with traditional values to create wines that are both contemporary and classic, truly reflecting the specific characteristics of their terroir. Their flagship wine, ‘Gran Bussia,’ continues to honor their father and showcases the exceptional potential of their vineyard from the outset.
